If you are getting an "Upload Error" message when trying to upload a trail to GAIA GPS, this article is for you!
Sometimes, the link between your Trails Offroad and GAIA GPS accounts gets interrupted. There is a simple fix to reset this connection that takes care of most of the "Upload Error" issues. To begin, go to the Settings tab (iOS) or the Profile tab (Android) in the lower right corner of the app.
Then, tap "Unlink GAIA GPS Account".
Unlinking will force re-authentication with Gaia GPS the next time you try to upload a trail. You can now go back to the trail and attempt the Upload to Gaia GPS again.
Once you do this, you should see "Track Uploaded!" If you continue to have issues, please contact support for further diagnostics.
